Caro Dixey

Caro has worked as a dramaturg and writer since graduating from Central School of Speech and Drama with a Masters in Advanced Theatre Practice in 2008. Her Dramaturgy credits include The Long Red Road (dir. Phillip Seymour Hoffman) and The Good Negro (dir. Chuck Smith) at The Goodman Theatre, Chicago. As a writer Caro has experienced success with Writer’s Avenue Theatre company, having pieces produced at The Pleasance Theatre, Islington and the Soho Theatre. Her short play The List was recently produced as part of Bush Bounce at The Bush Theatre (dir. Anna Enhold-Danailov) and she had a commissioned monologue performed at the Horse Theatre, Waterloo earlier this year. Caro also publishes a poetry blog: www.bird-songs.blogspot.co.uk.
